The Cooling Pad 1.2x1m from Mazraty delivers efficient, low-cost temperature reduction through the simple physics of water evaporation. Made from corrugated cellulose paper treated against algae growth, these pads absorb water in just 5 seconds and drop incoming air temperature by 5 to 12 degrees Celsius. Installed on one wall of the house opposite exhaust fans, the pad system works by drawing hot outside air through the water-saturated corrugated channels. As water evaporates, it absorbs heat energy from the air stream, delivering noticeably cooler air into the housing area. Each 1.2 by 1 meter pad covers approximately 20 to 30 square meters of cooling area. The 150 mm thickness offers superior cooling performance compared to thinner alternatives. Multiple pads mount side by side to cover larger walls.
